introducing..

hello people of the world.

my body clock is no longer existant. i just woke up and my brain is debating whether it's still asleep or in hyper mode. and i like chewing gum that lets me spit in different colours.

and i spent the whole day in a different country, IMU.. yep

if ur not getting the picture just yet, im trying to say that my life recently has been hectic, totally upside down (time-wise), but otherwise insanely fun.

if u were trying to understand those few statements, i commend you.

so yes, here we go : update.

the 2nd show of the church circuit went really well last nite. it made me notice tho, how the cast and crew considered different parts of the play to express different emotions... and how the audience just found everything funny. but as colin said, laughing is kinda how people let off the emotional tension in a "safe" way.

and i think that's true lo.. quite super true. but this isnt gona be a post abt any deep things, so i'll just keep to the topic.

since i havent really talked much about the people im working with (they're called the Footstool Players btw) here's one post for them.

like anyone who's "working", i'll start with these two people first. this is elena, my boss. she says that if u measured her from the sky to her head, she'd be taller than everyone. words of wisdom i tell you, hard to find bosses like that nowadays. she's the one running around everywhere making sure everything's in its place and running the music as well. it's crazy doing stage stuff. fun. but crazy.

this is, colin. my boss' boss. he says.. well.. alot. haha.. learning stuff from him is a totally different thing compared to all the school teachers and lecturers. i have no idea how to describe the difference but i CAN say one thing about it.

it beats studying ANYTIME heh heh heh heh heh

it's deep stuff man.. deep stuff.

*ahem*

k, learning just from him isnt the whole thing. the whole team gives me something new to take home everytime we meet for practice or a play. both the cast and the crew. so i have this "balance" of artistic and technical-logistic-super-ordered-and-stuff-ic halves.

i'm not sure whthr im allowed to post up more photos. lol.. but i'll just do it anyway with those that.. i.. thnk.. shud be safe.. to post up..

these people make up the cast. ann, sean, linora, jon, soonwei and adrene. and my boss' boss is the one with the back facing the camera. the bunch of people i work with everyday, move cubes, tables and chairs for, repeat their lines while theyre on stage and go "oh crap, where's the tissue box on stage???" when i forget to put the tissue box on stage.

i think one thing ive learnt from them is, as much as u need to be talented in acting, u also need to be able to think fast and think ALOT on stage. something i never really realised at first. and the way they do it is just crazily good.

this was our first show at segi. has anyone seen the place?? it's freakin insane man. friccckkinn insane. the auditorium was huge. the place is freaking huge for goodness sakes. insane. just insane. the show went really nicely for our debut show. but super tiring carrying things around i tell you. thank God for the helpers.

and this was the 2nd show we had in SSGC. i think one thing cool about the whole touring around thing is that we go to different places and, like it or not, we have to make do with the different stage sizes and setups on the spot. and we only have like what, 2 or 3 hours to get things sorted out on the spot.

that's about as much as i have. im sorry for the sucky pictures, not much of a photographer. and i cant really talk about the play and it's contents, so why dont u just get over to one of the remaining 24 shows we have left. haha.

it's really fun just being really busy with these people. seriously.

in a sense, and for some reason, i'm not worrying about what's ahead. im not saying this based on my blunt nature of just being carefree and having a whatever attitude. but i think i can say that im totally contented with doing the little i am doing now.

getting to know new people.

having time to just write my heart out.

to do things that matter

to traveling? haha

and just doing new stuff and learning everything i can.

it's awesome.

i have to say that i have no idea what tomorrow's gona bring for me. i spent today doing a cheer routine song, i think that wud be enough to explain random surprises in life. haha. but im happy la. life's stable. no conflicts of the heart and hormones. no ups and downs of friend politics. and no studying, like yeah. haha..

but i think it's cool that now, im finally being led to things i can do something about. things i can learn something from to add onto what im trying to build in this life. things i enjoy and am passionate about. things i wanna keep doing for as long as i have breath if it means doing it for a bigger picture in the end.

things that are always something to be counted for.

life's better when it's lived for other lives.

well that's what i think la.

i also think that the cotton candy machine is the coolest machine in the world.

i'm getting hungry so i'll go now. nite people!

ming out.
